I like talks with honest people. Talks about nothing in particular as long as it’s with someone real— someone who’s straight to the point and doesn’t bother sugar-coating words— someone I am willing to give my respect to.

Do not let someone be the reason you’re living. Be your own reason why you’re living. Live because you deserve to. Live because you want to. Live because it’s your life and no one else’s.

Too Much of a Yes is Bad

I’ve always been the ‘Yes’ girl. And yes, I am making it sound bad because let’s face it; too much of a yes is not healthy because people tend to take things for granted. Why? Because too much of something begins to lose its value and things which lose value lose audience.

It seems like you no longer remember me. Seeing you laugh with unfamiliar faces gives my heart a little twitch— just a little. I’m still thankful for I know now where I stand.

Stillness No More

The big and golden buried itself behind the mountains. Light and dark battled halfway with the latter who prevailed effortlessly. From the creases and gaps to the edges, the shadow cautiously crept and later wrapped the room with gloom—all was dark. Stillness then joined darkness, only for a while, though for she knew she will no longer make it. And just like any other night, she crumbled, and stillness was no more.

Every night, her chest heaving and in her throat a lumpy feeling— keeping it all in, afraid for someone to witness her vulnerability, her secret.
